Who Are We?
The Rotarian Action Group for Polio Survivors and Associates is the living legacy of the Rotary Polio-Plus polio eradication program through humanitarian assistance to polio survivors of the world. This Action Group operates in accordance with Rotary International policy, but is not controlled by Rotary.

Bill Gates/Ayuba Gufwan at Global Polio Eradication Initiative
Here is a link to a blog which Bill Gates posted, reporting on his trip to Nigeria in June and the efforts of the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation in eradicating polio. Those of you who have helped to support the Wheelchairs for Nigeria program will find this most interesting. There is a 5 minute video of Mr. Gate’s visit to Kano, the largest city in Nigeria’s north, center of most of the polio, and his visit with Nigeria’s President Goodluck Johnson and other national leaders in Abuja.
At the Global Polio Eradication Initiative held at the World Health Organization headquarters in Geneva on June 18, the Executive Director for Wheelchairs for Nigeria was also one of the featured speakers. Ayuba's wheelchair factory in Jos, Nigeria is one of the recipeints of the PSA's recent projects. (more information here.) Click on the image below to see his presentation.
